The series draws on traditions of contemplative art, from the suprematist compositions of Kazimir Malevich to the immersive environments of James Turrell, while reinterpreting them in response to a contemporary need for silence, focus, and reflection.

The project is grounded in a restrained visual language characterized by a muted palette, layered textures, and an intimate sense of space. These elements establish a rhythm that has a calming effect on perception, functioning as a visual analogue to white noise.

The «Visual Refuge» series explores the capacity of art to create spaces of emotional refuge—zones of visual calm where color, form, and composition contribute to a sense of protection and inner balance. Here, the artwork functions as a portal for contemplative immersion, offering a temporary retreat from the intensity of contemporary life.
